The Jubilate Worship Arts Institute is a developing ministry to bring greater vitality to worship through the intentional addition of the arts. As an extension of the Jubilate Summer Festival of Worship and the Arts of the Pacific Northwest Conference of the United Methodist Church, it will make training in worship arts more accessible to clergy and lay people in local churches. The Jubilate Worship Arts Institute will train leaders to incorporate creative and expressive arts into worship in a unified way that enriches and enhances the worship experience. It will do that by providing workshops and presentations in such areas as preaching, scripture presentation, music, movement and the visual arts.
Our mission is to explore relationships between community action, spirituality and art and to provide opportunities for learning and deepening people's abilities in spiritually expressive art forms. Our focus is on holistic learning in community that will lead to an improved quality of life for all.
